Favorite Horror Movies on Peacock

Just in time for Peacocktober, here’s a list of some of my favorite horror movies streaming on Peacock and Peacock Premium.

Exorcist III (1990) (Peacock Premium)

Based on William Peter Blatty’s fantastic novel, LEGION, this movie arguably has the most frightening pop-up scare of all time. George C. Scott and Ed Flanders are fantastic here.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) (Peacock Premium)

Never sleep again! One of the greatest slasher films of all time. It’s no wonder that Freddy Krueger became a horror icon. Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, Robert Englund, and Johnny Depp star. A horror fan favorite, Lin Shaye appears in a minor role as a teacher.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) (Peacock Premium)

A fun follow-up to the original. Nancy’s back and Freddy’s gonna be in trouble!

The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

A classic of creature horror. The Gill-Man suit makes this movie.

Prince of Darkness (1987) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

A John Carpenter masterpiece. The Brotherhood of Sleep will give you nightmares. Donald Pleasence and Victor Wong shine. Even Alice Cooper makes an appearance.

They Live (1988) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

Roddy Piper is here to kick ass and chew bubblegum… And he’s all out of bubblegum! Another classic from John Carpenter.

An American Werewolf in London (1981) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

John Landis’ classic horror-comedy with Rick Baker’s award-winning special effects.

Saw (2004) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

James Wan’s original differs greatly from what the franchise becomes and is worth a watch.

Friday the 13th (1980) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

The movie that launched a mega-franchise. The original gives me Hitchcock vibes and differs greatly from what the franchise will become. Don’t expect a hockey mask. That comes later. Kevin Bacon also appears in an early role.

Predator (1987) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

More of a science fiction action film, there’s still a lot of horror in this flick. You won’t have time to bleed if you watch this on Peacock! Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers star.

Phantasm (1979) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

Don Coscarelli’s surreal cult classic is a fan favorite. The Tall Man will haunt your dreams!

The Fly (1958) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

Vincent Price is at his best! You can’t go wrong with this classic!

Ginger Snaps (2000) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

Another fun cult film. This one deals with female werewolves.

Train to Busan (2016) (Peacock and Peacock Premium)

This South Korean action horror film is a modern classic of the zombie genre.
